I have been appointed as one of the Design Council’s Built Environment Experts, a network of specialists ‘who collectively embody the organisation’s commitment to making life better by design’. The expert group represents a wide range of industry skills, expertise and experience from across the UK. It will deliver design services as well as business and design innovation to Design Council clients so that they can best serve their communities and wider society. I was appointed for my interdisciplinary work in architecture and planning, my international academic expertise, and my contribution in making communities more inclusive and sustainable.
